About Us
JKM Fire and Security was founded by Jonathan Maddocks in his gymnasium in Balby Doncaster, which operated under the name Animal Kingdom Gym and Fitness Centre.
The company’s first major client was Moathouse Hotels, securing a national contract to provide reception security and door supervisors across all receptions & nightclubs. The second national contract was with New Look for women and their Project 300 stores, followed by another large-scale agreement covering 60 SPAR supermarkets, split between James Hall & Co in Preston and Blakemores.
The early success led to further national contracts with organisations such as the NHS, Jobcentres, and Stoneacre Cars, among others.
Under Jonathan’s leadership, JKM Fire and Security achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for its management systems and became a SafeContractor-approved company. Jonathan later studied Fire Alarm Systems for three years at college, completing NICEIC Accreditation
New Contract Awarded
A new contract has recently been awarded for a logistics centre in Doncaster.
Under this agreement, all fire and security services for the site have been awarded to JKM Fire & Security Doncaster.
The scope of works includes fire safety systems and security solutions to support the operational and compliance requirements of the facility, delivered in coordination with site management.
